About the founder Mrs. Swagata (Shanta) Mukherjee

This journey began 20 years ago with humble beginnings, hosting small gatherings with the desire to provide good food at fair prices. Our founder, Mrs Swagata Mukherjee, has always had the passion and courage to make her own recipes special. Her God-given ability to prepare food and develop recipes surpasses the abilities of many top chefs and sets her apart from others who have trained for hours in prestigious hotels and restaurants. Initially, she attended a course under renowned chef Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor. Years later, Swagata concluded that it was through more expertise, careful thinking, preparation and constant blessings that she found true satisfaction in the hospitality industry. We have now expanded into large event catering such as corporate catering and wedding catering.

The Journey

Shanta's Catering Service was established in 2002. In 2003, the company's first catered event attracted over 400 attendees, people began getting familiarised with us, and we bacame a recognized catering company throughout West Bengal and even outside. We have provided our services to large conglomerates such as PepsiCo, Microsoft India, Deloitte, Namura, Labvantage, Hyndai Motors, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, Dalmia Stock, Honda Motors, IMRB, Airtel, Parfetti Van Millie, TCG among many others. Shantaz built two base kitchens at EM Bypass Patri and Sodepur Barasat Road to manage the large volume of daily food delivery. Running a cloud kitchen it is possible to create new recipes while maintaining culinary standards, often delivering meals directly from cloud kitchens to customers' homes. After 19 years of successful operation, Shanta's Catering Service has expanded and opened a culinary outlet at Hotel Ocean Delight, Puri.

The journey has been immensely exciting so far. All of this achievement would not have been possible without the help and blessings of all our loyal clientele.
